AC by Marriott Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Support Expert Supervisor to lead stewarding across our kitchens and F&B outlets. You will supervise daily stewarding activities, coordinate operations, and ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are upheld.

You’ll work with culinary and F&B leaders to support smooth hotel operations, training and developing Kitchen Support Experts, and managing inventory and equipment turnover. This role is part-time and on-site at the Gold Coast property.

Formación

• At least 2 years of relevant stewarding, kitchen support or hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation and food safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the stewarding team.
• Coordinate stewarding operations across kitchen, restaurant, lounges and other Food & Beverage areas.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up equipment, supplies and work areas.
• Inspect kitchen, restaurant and storage areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety.
• Monitor correct stock rotation and FIFO practices.
• Complete scheduled inventories and requisition required cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Support efficient cleaning and turnaround of kitchen equipment, crockery, glassware, cutlery and utensils.
• Assist with scheduling, training, coaching and development of Kitchen Support Experts.
• Provide clear handovers between shifts and communicate operational priorities.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate required repairs.
• Work collaboratively with Culinary and Food & Beverage leaders to support smooth hotel operations.

As a Kitchen Support Expert /Stewarding Supervisor, you’ll play a key leadership role within our Heart of House operations, supporting the day-to-day running of stewarding across our kitchens and Food & Beverage outlets.

Working closely with our culinary and Food & Beverage leaders, you’ll help ensure our kitchens, equipment, storage areas and back‑of‑house spaces operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of relevant stewarding, kitchen support or hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation and food safety requirements.
• Confidence supervising and motivating a diverse team.
• Strong organisation and time‑management skills.
• The ability to prioritise workload in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational standards.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
