Job summary

AC Hotel Gold Coast – Surfers Paradise QLD is hiring Food & Beverage Supervisors to lead and support our team across breakfast, dinner, banquets and pool service as we open the hotel. This hands-on leadership role keeps you on the floor, guiding colleagues, delivering warm, professional experiences and maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness and guest safety from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Food & Beverage or similar hospitality environment.
• 1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in restaurant, banquet, bar, pool or high-volume service environments.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Confidence coaching and motivating a team.
• Flexibility to work across breakfast, evening, weekend and event shifts.
• Genuine passion for hospitality, teamwork and attention to detail.

Join the pre-opening team at AC Hotel by Marriott Gold Coast and help bring our Food & Beverage experience to life from day one.

We are looking for Food & Beverage Supervisors to lead and support our team across a variety of outlets and service periods, including Breakfast, Dinner, Banquets and Pool.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, supporting their team and creating effortless, memorable experiences for guests.

What You’ll Do

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will help lead the daily operation while ensuring our guests receive warm, professional and consistent service.

• Supervise and support Food & Beverage associates
• Coordinate opening, closing and daily operational duties
• Ensure the team is prepared, well presented and working together to deliver exceptional service
• Monitor guest flow, table availability and service standards
• Anticipate guest needs and respond confidently to feedback or service challenges

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a natural people leader who enjoys a fast‑paced hospitality environment and is comfortable moving between different styles of service.

• At least 2 years’ experience in Food & Beverage or a similar hospitality environment
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience in restaurant, banquet, bar, pool or high‑volume service environments
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Confidence coaching and motivating a team
• Flexibility to work across breakfast, evening, weekend and event shifts
• A genuine passion for hospitality, teamwork and attention to detail
