Job summary

AC Hotels by Marriott Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Support Expert to join our pre-opening team. In this part-time, non-management role you will help our culinary and Food & Beverage teams by maintaining clean back‑of‑house areas, washing and sanitising serviceware, and supporting basic food preparation as needed.

We value reliability, energy and attention to detail, with a team‑first mindset and the flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Food Safety Certificate preferred.
• Hospitality or kitchen experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organised and safe kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Wash, sanitise and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support basic food preparation and kitchen organisation when required.
• Assist across kitchen, Food & Beverage and associate dining areas.
• Transport equipment, supplies and kitchen items throughout the hotel.
• Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and security procedures.
• Support your fellow AC Family Members and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do
