AC by Marriott Gold Coast is forming a pre-opening team and seeks a Kitchen Support Expert to help the culinary and Food & Beverage teams deliver a seamless experience. You will help maintain spotless kitchen areas, support preparation, and assist across dining areas.

Join a brand-new hotel on the Gold Coast and help establish standards, routines, and culture from day one. Prior hospitality experience is helpful but not required; Food Safety Certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Hospitality, kitchen support or stewarding experience beneficial but not essential.
• Food Safety Certificate is a plus and may be required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain clean, organised and safe kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Wash, sanitise and store crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support basic food preparation and kitchen organisation when required.
• Assist across kitchen, Food & Beverage and associate dining areas.
• Transport equipment, supplies and kitchen items throughout the hotel.
• Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and security procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do

In this hands-on role, you will:

• Maintain clean, organised and safe kitchen and back-of-house areas.

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Previous kitchen, stewarding, cleaning or hospitality experience is advantageous, but not essential.
