Commercial TC Pty Ltd in Bella Vista, NSW is seeking a proactive traffic coordination professional to support daily crew allocation, assist with TGS/TMP development, and help prepare traffic management documentation.
Ideal candidates will have experience as a Traffic Controller or Team Leader, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn traffic planning and operational coordination. On-site role with opportunities for career progression and training.
This is a varied role that will see you involved in the day-to-day coordination and administration of traffic management operations. Working closely with Managers and the Director, you will receive the opportunity to develop your skills and build a career in traffic management operations.
Assisting with the daily allocation and scheduling of traffic control crews across multiple sites.
Learning to develop Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMP) in accordance with relevant standards, legislation and project requirements.
Reviewing Traffic Guidance Schemes and assisting with the preparation of traffic management documentation.
Supporting the planning team with risk assessments, hazard identification and the development of appropriate control measures.
Assisting with permit applications and ensuring relevant approvals and requirements are met.
Communicating with clients, site supervisors, traffic control crews and other key stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of operations.
Assisting with staff administration, timesheets and payroll-related tasks.
Providing general operational and administrative support to the wider team.
Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and within required timeframes.
Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Team Leader, with a good understanding of traffic management operations.
A strong interest in learning traffic planning, staff allocation and operational coordination.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to take initiative.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
A current driver's licence and White Card.
Current IMP ,TCR and PWZTMP accreditations.
Experience with Nearmap, RapidPlan or similar traffic planning software will be highly regarded.
