Job summary

Plinius Engineering is seeking a motivated and organised Junior Contract Administrator | Document Controller to join the team on a full-time basis in Ballarat to provide administrative support across commercial construction projects.

Working closely with Project Management and Estimating teams, you’ll support the successful delivery of a wide variety of projects and help keep projects compliant and running smoothly from an administrative perspective.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction administration or similar is preferred.
• Understanding of construction documentation and project administration.
• Experience with procurement processes.
• Diploma or equivalent in Business/Construction Administration; valid driver's licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with administration of multiple commercial construction projects.
• Assist with procurement, cost tracking, reviewing invoices and monitoring deliveries.
• Track quality assurance inspections and materials in Tekla PowerFab.
• Contribute to WHS compliance and project documentation to meet government reporting requirements.
• Assist with labour allocation for project budgeting and cost tracking.
• Assist with short-term project planning and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate project records and document control.
• Provide administrative support to the Estimating team.
