Job summary

Department of Health Tasmania is seeking an experienced Injury Management professional to oversee case management of workers’ compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work programs across the North, South and statewide regions.

You will provide high-level advice to managers and employees on injury management issues and maintain knowledge of WHS regulatory requirements, contributing to a supportive, compliant workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of contemporary WHS, wellbeing, and Injury Management practices.
• Working knowledge of relevant workers' compensation legislation and regulatory environment.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Case management of workers’ compensation claims.
• Facilitate and coordinate return-to-work programs.
• Provide high-level advice to managers and employees on injury management issues.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory environment affecting workers’ compensation, WHS and employment.
