Job summary

Working Life, Perth-based, seeks an experienced Injury Management Consultant to support employers and injured workers through early intervention, injury management and workplace rehabilitation services. You will help navigate challenges, build capacity and achieve safe, sustainable employment outcomes.

You will contribute to multidisciplinary teams, deliver training, and provide proactive case management across pre-claim, workers' compensation and motor vehicle insurance matters.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified allied health professional with membership of the relevant professional association (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC).
• Minimum of three years' workplace rehabilitation experience.
• Knowledge of WA Injury Management and Workers’ Compensation Act 2023 and Regulations 2024.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including professional report writing and email correspondence.
• Ability to apply professional knowledge and judgement independently in complex tasks.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team and maintain key relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify return-to-work barriers across physical, psychological, workplace and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement practical plans to support recovery, capacity and safe, sustainable employment outcomes.
• Manage relationships with injured workers, employers, insurers, practitioners and allied health providers.
• Provide injury and case management across pre-claim, workers' compensation and motor vehicle matters.
• Prepare clear reports, emails and case notes tailored to the audience.
• Contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and support shared objectives.
• Develop and deliver injury management, injury prevention and workers' compensation training and education.
