Job summary

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) invites suitable applicants to manage the lifecycle of WorkCover claims and lead proactive return-to-work strategies across the department. You will guide, coach and support People Leaders to implement efficient return-to-work approaches and identify injury trends.

You will build productive relationships with the WorkCover Agent, WorkSafe Victoria, unions and service providers, using strong stakeholder management, reporting and presentation

Qualifications

• Sound stakeholder management experience.
• Advanced report writing and analysis experience.
• Strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate return-to-work strategies for WorkCover recipients through consultation with individuals, line managers and health professionals.
• Identify injury/illness trends and emerging issues and report on them with management.
• Provide expert advice to people managers on legal requirements in OHS and return-to-work processes.
