Job summary

Portland District Health in Portland, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Injury Management / Return to Work Coordinator for an ongoing part-time role (48 hours per fortnight). Available from 9 November 2026, you will coordinate injuries and workers' compensation matters, advise managers on suitable duties and workplace adjustments, and support a safe, timely return to work.

You’ll bring qualifications in injury management, OH&S and return-to-work, with training such as Return to Work Accredited

Qualifications

• Injury management, rehabilitation, occupational health and workers' compensation experience.
• Understanding of return-to-work principles and legislation.
• Willing to obtain Return To Work Coordination certificate within 3 months; public health/hospital experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage workplace injuries, illnesses and workers' compensation matters.
• Advise managers on suitable duties, workplace adjustments and rehabilitation for return-to-work.
• Support employees to achieve a safe, timely and sustainable return to work.
