Job summary

The Injury Management team within the Tasmanian Department of Health Tasmania seeks a proactive Return to Work Coordinator to manage workers’ compensation cases, coordinate return-to-work plans and provide expert injury management guidance to managers and staff.

You will contribute to a values-based, collaborative work culture, with responsibilities spanning case management, regulatory compliance and liaison with medical practitioners and stakeholders. A 12-month fixed-term role is available.

Qualifications

• High-level knowledge of contemporary WHS, wellbeing and injury management practices

Responsibilities

• Case management of workers' compensation claims
• Facilitating and coordinating return to work programs
• Providing high level advice on injury management issues to managers and employees
• Representing IM in accordance with the Workers Rehabilitation & Compensation Act 1988
• Maintaining knowledge of regulatory environment affecting workers' compensation and WHS
