Job summary

Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown is seeking an experienced Leader of Learning Diversity (Coordinator 2) to join the leadership team. This role leads inclusive education initiatives, supports students with diverse learning needs and builds teacher capability.

You will collaborate across College leadership, families and external professionals to foster an inclusive culture, implement Personalised Learning Plans, monitor progress and contribute to strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Recognised tertiary qualifications in Education.
• Postgraduate qualifications or additional professional learning in inclusive education, special education or learning support would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in learning diversity, inclusion and student support across the College.
• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of inclusive education practices that support students with diverse learning needs.
• Build teacher capability through coaching, mentoring and professional learning in differentiation, adjustments and evidence-informed teaching practices.
• Coordinate targeted interventions and individualised learning support to improve student engagement, achievement and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to develop, implement and review Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs) and appropriate adjustments.
• Oversee processes relating to the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD), ensuring accurate documentation and evidence of adjustments.
• Use student learning data and assessment evidence to identify needs, monitor progress and inform improvement strategies.
• Foster strong partnerships with students, families, external specialists and support services to ensure coordinated and effective support.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school culture where diversity is recognised, respected and celebrated.
• Contribute to the College's strategic priorities and work collaboratively as a member of the leadership team.
