Job summary

Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula seeks a Learning Diversity Coordinator for Year 10–12. This 3‑year Leadership position is combined with an ongoing teaching appointment and leads a team of learning support staff to plan and coordinate additional support for students with diverse learning needs.

The role engages with teachers, leaders, and families to deliver inclusive education, align with MTSS and Disability Standards for Education, and monitor progress toward optimal educational

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multi‑tiered support systems (MTSS).
• Knowledge of Disability Standards for Education (2005).
• Ability to work with students with disabilities or additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with students, parents and staff to oversee the Learning Program (PLPs) for students with disability or additional needs.
• Collaborate with Learning Leaders, Heads of Campus - Learning and Pedagogy, and teachers on suitable pedagogy for diverse learners.
• Lead the department at the respective Campus and oversee MTSS processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and coordinate a capable team of learning support staff.
• Support teachers to develop skills to foster learning, independence and confidence.
