Job summary

Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment – Glenmore Park NSW seeks a Team Leader – SIL to guide a small Active Support Workers team delivering person-centred care at clients' homes. You’ll ensure smooth daily operations, maintain safety, and foster a positive team culture while coordinating with care managers and external partners.

You will lead, coach and motivate staff, uphold Active Support principles and manage a rotating roster that includes afternoons and sleepovers.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Disability or related field (IV or Leadership qualifications preferred).
• Willingness to work rotating roster including afternoons and Saturdays.
• Minimum 1–2 years' team leadership experience in disability or community sector.
• At least 2 years’ direct support experience with complex needs or behaviours.
• Strong knowledge of Active Support and person-centred approaches.
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for 24/7 rotating roster including sleepover shifts.
• Current First Aid, CPR, NSW Driver’s License, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small team of Active Support Workers to deliver consistent, high-quality care in a home setting.
• Coordinate with Client Care Managers and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and safety.
• Model organisational values and best practice in disability support; mentor and motivate the team.
