Job summary

Maxlife Care Pty invites applications for a Disability Support Team Leader in Belmont, NSW. You will oversee day-to-day operations across SIL houses, lead frontline staff, and ensure safe, person-centred service delivery while supporting staff performance and growth.

An Area Manager will provide guidance and training to maintain high standards of care. To thrive, you should have a minimum of 2 years supervising disability support workers, experience with diverse disabilities, and a Certificate

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years supervising disability support workers.
Experience with individuals with mental health, neurodevelopmental needs, or challenging behaviours.
Experience across multiple SIL houses or group homes.
Certificate III in Disability or higher qualification.
Strong communication and rapport-building abilities.
Commitment to Person-Centered Practices.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site leadership across SIL houses and transitions.
Oversee client transitions and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
Lead, coach and supervise support staff with performance oversight.
Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and internal policies.
Monitor incidents, risks and safeguarding requirements; address issues early.
Support rostering, handovers and continuity of care.
Provide hands-on participant support including personal care and daily activities.
