Job summary

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay invites applications for a Disability Support Team Leader in Manly, NSW. This permanent full-time role combines hands-on support with strong people leadership to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for participants.

You will lead a team, promote safety and compliance, and foster a positive house culture while upholding rights and dignity. NSW driver’s license and checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 yrs experience leading teams in disability / community services facility.
• Certificate III / IV in Disability or above.
• NSW Drivers Licence and access to an insured vehicle.
• Working With Children’s Check.
• First Aid and CPR certificate.
• NDIS workers check.
• Completion of NDIS worker orientation module.

Responsibilities

• Lead SIL services with hands-on support and service excellence.
• Balance team leadership with high-quality person-centred care for participants.
• Inspire and mentor staff to build respectful relationships with participants.
• Create a positive, inclusive, professional house culture.
• Ensure services are delivered safely and in line with standards.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Team Leader to lead our disability SIL and play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

This role is ideal for someone who leads with integrity, empowers others, and is passionate about supporting people with disability to live fulfilling, independent lives. As Team Leader, you will balance hands-on support, team leadership, and service excellence, ensuring both participants and staff thrive.
