Job summary

Zohorecruit is partnering with a well-established NDIS provider to recruit a hands-on Team Leader for a SIL home in Sydney's Inner West. Reporting to the SIL Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations and lead the team to deliver person-centred care.

You will coordinate rostering, staff development, compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and direct participant support when needed, while fostering strong relationships with families, coordinators and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Certificate IV or higher in disability, human services or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years as a Disability Support Worker or similar role.
• Solid understanding of NDIS SIL services and standards.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Strong administrative and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day SIL home operations and report to the SIL Manager.
• Build and manage staff rosters and maintain safe staffing levels.
• Lead, supervise and coach Disability Support Workers.
• Maintain participant, staff and operation records per policies.
• Coordinate appointments and communication with families and professionals.
• Manage household supplies, equipment and admin processes.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Provide direct participant support when needed as part of leadership.
