Job summary

Direct IT is seeking an ICT Sales Representative to manage client accounts and promote a range of hardware, software and ICT services to organisations in Sydney. You will develop a database of prospective clients, visit sites, assess needs and present Direct IT solutions to close deals.

You will quote prices, negotiate terms and coordinate delivery, installation and service, reporting to the sales manager on outcomes and market conditions. Strong communication and IT knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Experience with business IT infrastructure, hardware and software.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Computer and database management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and update a database of prospective client businesses.
Regularly visit prospective client businesses to establish selling opportunities and retain existing clients.
Assess customers' needs and explain Direct IT services to meet them.
Quote and negotiate on prices and credit terms and complete contracts and record orders.
Arrange the delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services.
Report to sales manager on sales made and marketability of ICT services.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
Prepare sales reports and maintain records of business expenses incurred.
