Qualifications

• AQF Diploma or higher in IT or related discipline or 3+ years in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, diagnosing and resolving computer hardware, software and OS faults.
• Providing technical assistance for computer, software and network connectivity issues.
• Installing, configuring and maintaining desktops, laptops, and software applications.
• Troubleshooting computer systems, peripherals and ICT equipment.
• Diagnosing network connectivity problems including wireless networks and routers.
• Assisting with software installations, system configurations, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Performing system updates, security checks, backups and routine maintenance.
• Using diagnostic tools to identify ICT faults and implement solutions.
• Responding to customer inquiries and advising on computer systems and ICT equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records of faults, procedures, repairs and service requests.
• Testing repaired or configured systems to ensure performance.
• Escalating complex problems and aiding in implementing effective solutions.
