Job summary

Northfleet, a Western Australian transport and equipment business, seeks an experienced Service Desk Officer to be the ICT frontline across five depots. You will resolve most issues, escalate where needed, and lead efforts to eliminate recurring problems.

The Perth-based role at Osborne Park reports to the Head of ICT, with occasional travel to metro and regional depots. Strong Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a helpdesk, service desk or desktop support role, with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration experience (Entra ID and Intune day to day).
• Solid Windows 11 and endpoint troubleshooting skills.
• Fundamental networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, Wi‑Fi).
• Genuine customer service ability for diverse depots and worksites.
• Clear written documentation skills.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call roster.
• Current WA C-class driver licence and Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level support across hardware, software, network and mobility issues for users at five depots.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant and related services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune).
• Handle endpoint build, deployment, patching and lifecycle management across devices.
• Leverage AI tools to improve business processes.
• Manage user/licence onboarding and offboarding; maintain tickets and knowledge base.
• Support line-of-business systems and telematics/vehicle tech at depots.
• Contribute to on-call roster and incident resolution, drive recurring fixes and training.
