Job summary

Etex Australia is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to support and grow our façade solutions across Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia. The role is hybrid, blending field sales with technical engagement with builders, developers and installers.

You will interpret architectural docs, advise on installations and drive growth in modular construction segments, collaborating with distributors and internal teams to win projects and deliver value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction or building materials industry.
• At least 2 years’ experience in technical sales or a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical documentation.
• Proven relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage EQUITONE specifications from tender stage through to installation and completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, developers, installers and project partners.
• Provide technical advice, site support, installation guidance and after-sales assistance.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare reports and collect customer feedback.
• Collaborate with distributors, internal sales, marketing and technical teams.
• Identify competitor specifications and support conversion strategies.
• Provide project and technical support outside the core region when required.
