Job summary

Saunders Lynn & Co is seeking a high‑energy Specification Sales professional to drive a standout, sustainable facade range in Sydney’s commercial sector. You’ll collaborate with architects, end clients, government buyers and engineers, building brand awareness and shaping projects from concept to construction.

You will work with a technical colleague, focusing on selling while the detail is covered, with autonomy in a privately owned, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Specification or technical sales experience within building products.
• Established network of architects, designers, engineers or construction companies.
• Sound grasp of the specification sales process and ability to read technical drawings.
• Genuine hunter's mindset, high energy and rapport with A&D clients.
• Inquisitive approach and motivation to engage decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Chase and win specifications across Sydney's commercial projects, turning early architect interest into secured specs.
• Build relationships with architects, designers and engineers, positioning you and your technical colleague as trusted advisers on facade solutions.
• Present design-led products with strong green credentials through CPD sessions and meetings, making them easy to say yes to.
• Use BCI to find and chase live projects, engaging the right people at the right stage and building a client list.
• Follow up and hold your specifications through to construction, safeguarding projects and converting influence into sales.
