Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a Home Care Rostering Coordinator to deliver exceptional home care by coordinating and scheduling care staff to meet client needs and preferences. The role is a full-time hybrid position with a base in Merrylands, supporting the Southern and Western NSW regions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain schedules for home care services, balancing client preferences with staff availability.
• Liaise with clients and families to understand needs and scheduling changes.
• Assign appropriate staff to clients based on skills, availability and compatibility.
• Allocate resources to minimize travel time and maximize staff utilization.
• Facilitate clear communication between clients, staff and internal teams about scheduling updates.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and logistical challenges to maintain service continuity.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, rosters and changes in line with regulations and procedures.
• Contribute to rostering process improvements to boost efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with care coordinators, administrators and management for seamless coordination.
