Job summary

Confidential Search is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead sales across Western Australia. The role focuses on building relationships with mining operators, contractors, OEMs and service providers in a hunter capacity, owning the full cycle from prospecting to closing.

Based in Perth, you will travel regularly to remote mine sites, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive a scalable sales pipeline with strong forecasting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the mining industry.
• Proven track record of opening new accounts and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong network within the Australian mining community, especially in Western Australia.
• Familiarity with OTR tyres or heavy mining equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively (FIFO/drive-in/drive-out).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive sales growth of giant OTR/mining tires across Western Australia.
• Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers at mining operations, contractors, OEMs and tire service providers.
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, site visits, needs analysis, quoting, negotiation and contract closure.
• Collaborate with technical, logistics and service teams to ensure supply and after-sales support, including remote sites.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing and customer demand; feed insights to headquarters.
• Represent the company at industry events, mine sites and trade shows across WA.
• Build and maintain a growing sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
