The Position: Reporting to the General Manager ANZ, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our APAC team supporting ANZ region. This role will be critical in expanding market share, shaping go-to-market strategy, enhancing customer knowledge of Hexagon mining full potential
In this role you will lead commercial outcomes, shape regional market penetration strategies, and partner closely across diverse stakeholder group to align customer needs with Hexagons solution.
This role will represent our Resource Optimisation portfolio, The Resource Optimisation portfolio connects geological insight with execution and processing across technology software for mine plan, ore body movement and tracking, mine planning and Drill & Blast design.

We are looking to recruit this role in Perth CBD, working hybrid rotation of 3/2. However open to recruit for our Hendra office in Brisbane, Queensland.

About You
We are looking for a Technical Business Development Manager professional who can bring strategic vision, commercial aptitude and entrepreneurial grit to our team, where your success will be integral in contributing to the growth of the APAC region. Your expertise in partnering with mining customer on how technology's solsution can support their needs from exploration through production optimisation in front end mining.
In addition, we are seeking those with the following skills or attributes;

• Experienced Business Development/Sales professional with tenure in mining industry
• Demonstrated understanding mining industry knowledge, ideally full life of mine
• Proven success in growing/representing new technology solutions to market
• Customer focused, solution orientated and a proactive problem solver
• Strong commercial and business acumen skills – across complex sales cycles, ideally
• Demonstrated advanced communication skills, alongside strategic relationship management skills
• Ability to be agile and future focused to grow trust and long-term relations.
