United Rentals is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mindset to accelerate growth of our Technical Solutions on the Australian East Coast. You will identify and convert new opportunities, expand strategic relationships, and manage complex solution-based sales from initial engagement through to contract award.

You will collaborate with Estimating, Engineering and Production teams to position us as the partner of choice for containerised solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum five years' experience in solution-based B2B business development or technical sales.
Experience selling engineered or technical solutions.
Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and relationship management skills.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Ability to travel throughout your region.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting.
Build and manage a pipeline of strategic, high value sales opportunities.
Develop customer-focused technical and commercial solutions.
Lead solution-based proposals and contract negotiations.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce CRM.
Travel across your region as required.
