Job summary

HTS Constructions Pty Ltd is seeking a senior Business Development Manager (WA) to lead growth of its remote construction services across Australia and the Pacific. You will build strategic client relationships, manage a structured sales pipeline and work with executive, estimating and delivery teams to convert opportunities into profitable, safely delivered projects.

Based at the Perth office with travel, the role requires 10+ years in BD or senior delivery in construction, strong negotiation

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in business development or senior delivery roles within construction, resources or infrastructure.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Commerce or equivalent.
• Experience securing and growing work with tier-one clients in resources, energy, defence or infrastructure.
• Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card) and current C class driver's licence
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills, with persuasive written skills for tenders and proposals
• Sound commercial and contractual acumen, and working knowledge of CRM systems
• Experience in remote, regional or FIFO/DIDO project environments highly regarded
• Knowledge of estimating, tendering and construction contract models (e.g. EPC, EPCM, D&C, construct-only) highly regarded
• Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and ISO standards highly regarded
• Established network across WA and NT resources and construction markets highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and execute HTS's BD strategy, identifying target markets, clients and sectors across WA
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform HTS's positioning
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as senior contact for key accounts
• Represent HTS at industry events, forums and client engagements
• Identify, qualify and track opportunities through a structured pipeline; lead bid/no-bid decisions with executives
• Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting for leadership
• Contribute to preparation of tenders, proposals and capability submissions; align tenders to win themes
• Strengthen HTS's brand and client-facing materials with marketing
• Ensure opportunities align with capability and capacity with executive/delivery teams
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline, wins and BD performance to executive and Board
• Champion HSEQ principles and HTS's values in all client engagements
