Job summary

The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is seeking a part-time People Systems & Analytics Officer to join the People and Safety Team in a 0.60 FTE ongoing role. You will be the subject matter expert for our HR Information System (ELMO), ensuring our people systems run effectively and our workforce data is accurate for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience administering ELMO or a similar HRIS.
• Strong workforce reporting and data analysis capabilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Power BI experience.
• Experience developing dashboards and executive-level reporting.
• Knowledge of HR processes, workforce metrics and employment legislation.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to translate complex data into practical insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and data confidentiality.
• Qualifications in HR, Business Analytics, Information Systems or Data Analytics.
• Experience in local government or public sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of ELMO and related systems.
• Configure workflows, forms, templates and reporting capabilities.
• Maintain the integrity, security and quality of workforce data.
• Develop workforce dashboards and analytics to support decision-making.
• Provide insights and recommendations to leaders using people data.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline people processes.
• Support system upgrades, testing and implementation of new functionality.
• Coordinate workforce reporting requirements including compliance and legislative reporting.
• Provide expert advice, training and support to system users.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve employee experience through technology and data.
