OPED Australia has been providing Allied Health products and services, through our Clinical and Distribution divisions, for over 40 years. Our Australian head office is based in Clayton, with distribution hubs in Adelaide and Sydney and clinical facilities in all states.

About the role

Working closely with the HR/Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of our fortnightly payroll, ensuring our employees are paid accurately, on time and in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies.

This is a hands‑on role where you will be involved across the full payroll cycle using Zambion Ready Workforce, from new starters and employee changes through to reconciliations, PAYG and superannuation. You will also be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely support and resolving payroll queries.

While payroll is the primary focus of the role, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to a range of HR administration activities, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, maintaining employee records, managing the shared HR inbox, supporting salary reviews and HR projects.

About You

You’re a confident payroll professional who enjoys taking ownership, getting the detail right and making sure things run smoothly. You’re organised, proactive and comfortable working across both payroll and HR administration, with a genuine interest in supporting employees and managers.

You’ll bring:

Solid experience processing payroll.

A sound understanding of Australian payroll requirements and employment conditions.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.

The ability to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and queries.

Experience or an interest in HR administration, including employee records,
onboarding, offboarding and recruitment support.

Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with employees and
managers.

Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage
competing priorities.

A proactive mindset and genuine interest in improving payroll and HR processes
and systems.

Professionalism, discretion and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
