Job summary

Aequalis Consulting Pty is seeking a Payroll Officer to join a friendly payroll team in Queensland, Australia. You will process fortnightly payroll for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while delivering outstanding service.

Working with HR, finance and IT, you will maintain personnel records, resolve payroll inquiries, and prepare reconciliations for superannuation, PAYG tax, and payroll tax.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing with knowledge of industrial instruments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Demonstrated respect for privacy and confidentiality.
• Experience with Chris21 payroll software.
• Strong knowledge of PAYG tax, payroll tax, superannuation, and related regulations.
