EVT is seeking a Duty Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations across shifts, ensuring a smooth and memorable guest experience from start to finish. You’ll guide and support your team on shift, stepping in where needed to maintain service standards and safety on the floor.

This full-time, hands-on leadership role requires frontline supervision, rostering input, and a focus on guest satisfaction and revenue growth within EVT’s hotel network.

Formación

• 1+ years in a duty manager or similar role within a branded or independent hotel.
• Ability to lead hotel operations in the absence of senior management and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Strong understanding of Front Office operations, including rostering, guest arrivals/departures, and team coordination.
• Experience in managing hotel security, guest complaints, and incident reporting with a solution-focused approach.
• Skilled in driving occupancy and revenue through effective rate management and cross-department collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee hotel operations during shifts and assist other departments when required.
• Support and supervise Front Office operations, ensuring staff presentation, punctuality, and service standards.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction by proactively resolving issues and promoting a welcoming service culture.
• Monitor hotel security and safety procedures, ensuring WH&S compliance and incident management.
• Drive occupancy and revenue by supporting rate management strategies and collaboration with key departments.
• Ensure effective inter-department communication to support operational efficiency and guest experience.
• Assist with rostering, staffing levels, and cost control to meet financial targets while maintaining service quality.
• Manage staff including training, rostering and monitoring of overtime, annual leave, and breaks.
• Manage cashiering, floats, tills, and shift costs in line with budget and record incidents.
