Wake Up Bondi in Bondi Beach, NSW, is seeking a full-time Hostel Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and ensure a welcoming experience for guests from Australia and abroad.

You will manage staff rosters, monitor bookings and budgets, develop service standards, and coordinate events. The role offers a competitive salary of 75,000–85,000 AUD plus superannuation, with training and career progression within a vibrant hostel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hostel/hospitality management experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hostel operations for efficient service.
• Supervise staff, rostering, training, and performance management.
• Develop policies to maintain service standards and efficiency.
• Monitor bookings, inquiries, arrivals, and departures.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor budgets, revenue and expenses to support profitability.
• Coordinate events and community activities to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe, clean, and well-organised environment.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors as required.
• Ensure WHS and hospitality compliance.
• Collaborate with management on business strategies.
