Australian Unity is hiring Experienced Home Care Support Workers to provide in-home support across the Blue Mountains, including Katoomba and surrounding towns.

You will assist clients with daily tasks such as cleaning, meal prep, personal care and transportation, in a respectful and safe environment. The role offers permanent part-time or casual contracts, with stable rosters and travel allowances.

Formación

• Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rosters Mon-Fri.

Responsabilidades

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding.
• Client Awareness: build relationships with clients and families with ongoing support.
• Safety Practices: adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers in the Blue Mountains and surrounding areas including - Blackheath, Medlow Bath, Leura, Katoomba, Wentworth Falls, Bullaburra, Lawson, Hazelbrook, Woodford, Linden.

• Contract Type:Permanent Part-Timeor Casual (based on your location and availability)
• $32.61 to $36.59/hour(dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time

Your New Role

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements

• Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
