Job summary

Australian Unity Limited in Sydney's Northern Beaches is seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers to help clients stay independent at home. The role covers domestic tasks, personal care, and community outings, with a focus on dignity and safety.

We offer permanent part-time or casual contracts depending on location, a competitive hourly rate, 12% super, travel allowance, paid travel time, smartphone and uniform, and a paid induction to get you started.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence is required.
• Ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle is required.
• Flexibility to work rosters Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, outings, showering, toileting, feeding.
• Client Awareness: build relationships with clients and families, observe with support.
• Safety Practices: follow health and safety guidelines to keep customers safe.

Home Care Support Worker - Northern Beaches

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers in the Northern Beaches and surrounding areas including - Palm Beach, Avalon Beach, Bilgola Plateau, Terrey Hills, Mona Vale, Narrabeen, Ingleside, Warriewood, Cromer, Dee Why, Belrose, Frenchs Forest, Brookvale, Collaroy, Balgowlah, Manly, Seaforth, Allambie Heights.

• Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time or Casual (based on your location and availability)
• $32.61 to $36.59/hour (dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time

Your New Role

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements

• Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
