Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers to assist customers in Greenacre and nearby areas. You will help with daily tasks, personal care, and accompany clients to appointments in their own homes.

The role offers a permanent part-time or casual contract, competitive hourly rates, 12% super, travel allowance per KM, and paid induction. Smartphone and uniform are provided, with opportunities for extra hours and a stable roster.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Australian Driver’s License.
• Own a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rosters Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with in-home tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide transportation and personal care support for appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Build rapport with clients and families, monitoring and reporting on client well‑being.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to keep clients and staff safe.

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers in Greenacre and surrounding areas including - Potts Hill, Chullora, Yagoona, Bankstown, Punchbowl, Mount Lewis, Strathfield, Belmore, Campsie, Croydon Park, Ashfield, Canterbury, Earlwood, Marickville, Petersham, Hurlstone Park, Dulwich Hill, Summer Hill.

What’s On Offer

• Contract Type:Permanent Part-Timeor Casual (based on your location and availability)
• $32.61 to $36.59/hour(dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time

Your New Role

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc.
• Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training
• Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe

Key Requirements

• Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday
