Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is hiring Experienced Home Care Support Workers for the St. George Region and surrounding areas in Sydney. The role involves in-home assistance with daily tasks, transportation, personal care, and client engagement to support independence at home.

Responsibilities include home help, appointments and shopping support, and maintaining safety and observant client care; a valid driver’s license and a reliable car are required. Flexible rostering is available across weekdays.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday.

• Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc.
• Client Awareness: building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training.
• Safety Practices: adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe.

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers in St. George Region and surrounding areas including - Revesby, Roselands, Bexley, Rockdale, Panania, Padstow, Peakhurst, Hurstville, Kogarah, Penshurst, Allawah. Mortdale, Picnic Point, Beverley Park, Oatley, Lugarno, Carrs Park, Ramsgate, Sandringham, Sans Souci.

• Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time or Casual (based on your location and availability)
• $32.61 to $36.59/hour (dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time
