Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking Home Care Support Workers to assist customers in Tumbarumba, Willigobung, Laurel Hill, Kunama, Batlow and nearby areas with in-home care services. The role offers permanent part-time or casual rosters, with paid travel time and a travel allowance, plus a smartphone and uniform, and a paid induction program.

Responsibilities include help at home, transportation and personal care, client relationship building, and ensuring safety practices in daily care

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rosters between Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Help at Home: cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transportation and Personal Care: assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding.
• Client Awareness: build relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training.
• Safety Practices: adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe.

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.

We are seeking Home Care Support Workers in Tumbarumba, Willigobung, Laurel Hill, Kunama, Batlow and surrounding areas.

• $32.61 to $36.59/hour(dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time

Your New Role
