Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking a part-time aged care worker to support older Australians at home in the Tamworth region. You will provide domestic and personal care, meal prep, medication assistance and social support to help clients live independently.

Applicants must have a current Australian driver’s licence with your own car, and at least 3 months of paid aged care experience. Flexible 20–50 hours per fortnight with 6 hours per day, 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday; some weekend rosters

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Tamworth area including Bithramere, Calala, Dungowan, Hallsville, Hillvue, Kootingal, Moonbi, Moore Creek, Oxley Vale, Taminda, Wallamore, Westdale and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitmentto our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
