Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in their homes across the Nambucca Valley area.

You will perform domestic tasks, personal support, medication assistance and mobility help, while promoting independence and wellbeing for clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence with your own car.
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers).
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

• Personal care: showering, grooming, toileting & mobility support.

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You

• Live across the Nambucca Valley area including Bowraville, Hyland Park, Macksville, Nambucca Heads, Newee Creek, Tewinga, Valla, Valla Beach, Wirrimbi and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)

What We Offer

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
• Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
