Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is hiring for in-home care roles in the Coffs Harbour area. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in their homes, including domestic tasks, personal care and companionship.

Permanent part-time or casual contracts are available, with 20–50 hours per fortnight and flex up shifts. Training is provided, including a 2-week Brilliant @ Basics program, to support your start.

Qualifications

• 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence with your own car.
• Commitment to working a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am–5pm.

Responsibilities

• Domestic support: cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Personal care: showering, grooming, toileting & mobility support.
• Medication assistance.
• Social support, transport and companionship.
• Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You:

• Live across the Coffs Harbour area including Bellingen, Dorrigo, Boambee/Boambee East, Macksville, Nambucca Heads, Sawtell, Toormina, Valla, Valla Beach and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 5pm,
• Available to work a minimum of 3 days between Monday to Friday + weekend shifts
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 20-50 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
