Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking a dedicated home care worker to support older Australians living independently at home across the Casino area including Irvington, Piora, Spring Grove, Tomki, Woodview and Lismore.

You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including personal care, medication assistance where applicable, domestic tasks and social support to enhance wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience delivering personal care in aged care, disability, or hospital environments.
• Qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community Care.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence with own car (no international licenses or shared vehicles).

Responsibilities

• Personal care: showering, grooming, toileting and mobility support.
• Medication assistance (where applicable).
• Domestic support: cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Social support and companionship.
• Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Join a supportive team helping older Australians (65+) live independently at home and make a real difference every day.

About You

• Live across the Casino area including Irvington, Piora, Spring Grove, Tomki, Woodview, Lismore and surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day with afternoon availability, Monday to Friday
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!
• Minimum 12 months of experience delivering personal care in aged care, disability, or hospital environments and/or completed a qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community Care

What We Offer

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Stable hours with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts

Your Role

As a valued member of the team, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in their homes.
