Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking casual entry-level carers to support older Australians in their homes around Casino, NSW. You will help with domestic tasks, promote independence and wellbeing, and may progress to broader care roles with company-provided training.

The role offers a starting rate of $32.61 per hour plus 12% super, a km allowance, and paid travel time, with potential move to permanent part-time and paid leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Live across the Casino area including Irvington, Piora, Spring Grove, Tomki, Woodview and surroundings.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with own car (no international or shared vehicles).
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day between 9am and 4pm, Mon-Fri.
• Commitment to paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training on start date.
• Open to entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Domestic support: cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing for clients.
• Potential progression to social support, transport and personal care with company training.
