Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking compassionate carers to support older Australians (65+) in Goulburn and surrounding areas. You will perform domestic tasks and provide personal support in clients' homes, delivering companionship and daily assistance with kindness and respect.

Entry-level roles cover cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and household tasks, while experienced carers may provide personal care and social support. A training program is provided, and weekend rosters may be available.

Qualifications

• Hold an Australian Driver's Licence and own comprehensively insured car.
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day within 8am–6pm.
• Available across 3–4 weekdays; some weekend rosters may be available for experienced carers.
• Complete our 2-week paid training program.
• Passionate about working in in-home care, with a focus on aged care.

Responsibilities

• Entry-level: Cleaning, laundry, meal prep and household support.
• Experienced: Personal care (showering, toileting, medications), social support and domestic duties.
• Most importantly provide companionship and brighten someone's day.

About You

• Live and can support our customers in Goulburn and surrounding areas
• Hold an Australian Driver's Licence and own comprehensively insured car (no international licence/shared vehicles)
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day within the hours of 8am to 6pm - but we're happy to discuss flexibility
• Available across 3-4 weekdays (some weekend rosters may be available for experienced Carers)
• Able to complete our 2-week paid training program
• Passionate about working in in-home care, with a focus on aged care

What We Offer

• Open to entry-level and experienced carers
• $32.61 - $36.59 p/h + super
• Paid travel time + $0.92 p/km allowance + company phone
• Contract:
• New Entrants: Casual contract
• Experienced Carers (12+ months experience and/or relevant qualification): 30 - 40 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts

Your Role

As a valued team member, you'll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role - this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you'll make a real difference in people's lives every day.
