Job summary

Australian Unity is seeking compassionate carers to support older Australians to live independently at home in Pottsville and surrounding communities. You’ll provide domestic and personal care, meal prep, and mobility support in clients’ homes.

Permanent part-time roles offer 30 hours per fortnight with paid induction and ongoing training, 12% super, travel time pay, and a kilometre allowance. You must hold a valid Australian driver’s licence and have 3+ months aged care experience.

• Live in the Pottsville area and surrounding communities.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car.
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.

About You:

• Live across the Pottsvillearea including Burringbar, Cabarita Beach, Casuarina, Crabbes Creek, Cudgera Creek, Hastings Point, Mooball, Round Mountain, Sleepy Hollowand surrounding communities
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (no international license's or shared vehicles)
• Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (some weekend rosters available for experienced carers)
• Commitmentto our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start!

What We Offer:

• $34.80 - $36.59 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
• Permanent Part-time contracts: 30 hours per fortnight + flex up shifts
