SMAART Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian insurer to recruit an experienced Home Assessing Team Leader for Melbourne’s northern suburbs. The role blends home-based work with Sunshine office attendance and regional travel.

You will lead a team of Home Assessors, provide technical guidance on repairs and estimates, and monitor performance to ensure accurate claims outcomes. This hybrid, full-time role offers strong development in a national organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a home assessors team.
• Strong knowledge of building repairs, estimating and scopes of work.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Home Assessors across the region.
• Provide technical guidance on building repairs, estimating and scopes of work.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and assessment quality.
• Support complex claims, escalations and operational challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and cost outcomes.
• Build relationships with builders, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
