SMAART Recruitment in Melbourne's northern suburbs seeks an experienced Home Assessing Team Leader. You will lead a team of Home Assessors, guide building repairs, estimating and scopes of work, and ensure accurate claims outcomes.

The role offers hybrid work with Sunshine office attendance and regional travel. It's a permanent, full-time position with leadership development and a $110K-$130K package including super, a company car, phone and laptop.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of assessors or equivalent supervisory role.
• Strong building repairs knowledge and estimating experience.
• Proven ability to drive performance and cost outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Home Assessors across the region.
• Provide technical guidance on building repairs, estimating and scopes of work.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and assessment quality.
• Support complex claims and operational challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and cost outcomes.
• Build relationships with builders, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
