Job summary

Allcott Hire is seeking a talented, energetic and customer-focused team member for our Cameron Park branch. This is a full-time permanent entry-level position.

Key tasks include handling online and phone enquiries, coordinating with drivers and staff, and processing hires using Base Plan software. A current manual driver’s license and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate computer skills required.
• MS Office proficiency at a basic to intermediate level.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues.
• Current Open Manual Driver’s License is required.
• Physical fitness suitable for light manual handling tasks.
• Mental fitness to handle daily equipment hire tasks.
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• Good command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Deal with online and telephone enquiries and orders to ensure accurate interpretation and delivery.
• Liaise with the team and branch staff to ensure equipment is available, maintained and ready for delivery.
• Process hires, off-hires, transfers and exchanges using Base Plan software.
• Handle manual paperwork as needed.
• Maintain daily diary of equipment movements and report discrepancies to supervisor.

Allcott Hire is one of Australia's leading equipment hire companies. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a talented, energetic and customer focused team player to work at our Cameron Park Branch

MAIN TASKS

• Deal with on-line and telephone enquirers and orders from customers to ensure all orders are interpreted and delivered to the specifications required.
• Liaise with the Allcott Hire team including otherhire controllers, branch managers, drivers and service people to ensure that equipment is available, maintained and ready to be delivered to our customers
• Process hires, off hires, transfers and exchangesusing Base Plan (hire industry software)
• Process manual paperwork when necessary
• Operate and maintain the daily diary recording ofall equipment movements including the reporting of errors and discrepancies to your supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Computer operation skills at a basic to intermediate level
• Microsoft Office software skills at basic-intermediate level
• Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, staff and management
• A current driver's license (Open Manual Driver’s License)
• A physical fitness level to carry out light manual handling duties
• Being mentally fit to deal with the daily activities of the equipment hire industry
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
• A good command of the English language
