We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller at our Tingalpa location to greet customers, help them select the right tool, create hire contracts, and manage returns while recording equipment movements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hire Controller or similar customer-service role within equipment hire or construction industry.
• Proficient with inventory systems, MS Office and email.
• Construction White Card (Essential)
• Current C-Class manual Drivers License (Essential)
• Forklift License (Essential)
• MR Truck License (Desirable)
• Team worker and willing to learn on the job
• Punctual with professional and safety conscious

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the front counter and assist in tool selection.
• Create hire contracts and process returns.
• Accurately record movements of hire equipment and resources.
• Deliver and collect small hire plant and equipment when required.
• Provide on-site service and uphold safety standards.

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller to assist and support the branch operations at our Tingalpa location by providing front counter customer serving to the general public as well as our trade customers. The roll will incorporate, greeting the customers as the 'face' of Direct Hire, assisting in the choice of the right tool for the job, the creation of the hire contracts and then off hiring the returns whilst accurately recording the movements of the hire equipment and resources to meet customer's needs.

When necessary the role requires delivering and collecting small hire plant and equipment, as well as providing our customers with outstanding service, safely loading and unloading, and on-site services when needed. .

You will form part of a growing team who will support you with ongoing training with an opportunity of a career development, whilst enjoying a fun and secured place to work.

About You

You will be in charge of representing and showcasing Direct Hire excellent service, with expert advice whilst at the branch and on-site whilst maintaining high standards of equipment quality, customer service, positive attitude and safety approach to your everyday tasks.

To be successful for this position, the following are preferable:

• Experience in Hire Controller or similar customer-service role within the equipment hire or construction industry.

• Competent in using computer software such as inventory systems, MS office and email.

• Construction White Card (Essential)

• Current C-Class manual Drivers License (Essential)

• Forklift License (Essential)

• MR Truck License (Desirable but not essential)

• Team worker and willing to learn on the job
