Tutt Bryant Hire is seeking a Hire Controller at the Laverton branch. You will be the friendly, organised link between customers, drivers, workshop and the branch team, handling customer interactions, schedules and documentation.

No two days are the same, with comprehensive training and support provided. This long-term role suits someone organised with strong people skills and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service or administration experience.
• Confident phone manner and clear communication skills.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organised.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.
• Basic geographical knowledge of Melbourne and surrounding areas.
• Experience in hire, logistics, scheduling or fleet coordination is an advantage but not required.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential (training can be provided).

Tutt Bryant Hire is one of Australia’s leading equipment hire companies, with branches across the country and a proud history spanning more than 80 years. We support a wide range of industries including construction, infrastructure, industrial services and trade customers.

We are currently seeking a Hire Controller to join our Laverton branch. This role reports directly to the Branch Manager and plays a key part in being the first point of contact for our customers.

This position would suit someone with strong customer service and administration skills, who enjoys working in a busy, team-based environment. Previous hire industry experience is welcome but not essential — full training and support will be provided.

About the Role

As a Hire Controller, you will be the friendly and organised link between our customers, drivers, workshop and branch team. Your day will involve a mix of customer interaction, coordination, and administration.

You’ll be supported by an experienced team and systems, and no two days are the same.

This role is ideal for someone returning to the workforce, or looking for a stable, long-term position where people skills and attention to detail are valued.
