Job summary

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service – answering calls, emails and responding to customer requirements
• Managing daily hire control and operational procedures
• Processing hire contracts and managing equipment availability using hire software Baseplan
• Allocating equipment and coordinating deliveries and collections
• Assisting with stocktake and maintaining accurate yard and fleet records
• Liaising with transport providers regarding truck and driver allocation
• Liaising with the service/workshop team regarding fleet maintenance and repairs
• Managing hire paperwork, extensions, off-hires and damages
• Being an integral part of the operational performance of the business

• Baseplan experience (highly regarded but not essential)
